A little bit about our staff
Dr. Doug Parker and his wife, Dr. Tammy Jones have three sons. Dr's. Parker and Jones have operated SCAH since 1992. Both are OSU graduates. They own two dogs, three cats and a small herd of award winning jersey cows. Dr. Parker likes to spend time with his family, at church activities and hunting. Dr. Tammy Jones works out of her home raising their three boys, staying involved with their school, church and 4-H activities.
Dr. Darlene Wehr lives on a farm in Oklahoma with her husband and two sons. A graduate of Oklahoma State, she has been at SCAH for four years. She has four dogs, 1 cat, 14 horses and a mule. Her favorite breed is the Quarter Horse.
Melissa Freeman, originally from Springfield, IL, is our office manager. She has a bachelors in social work from Missouri as well as a Legal Assistant degree. Melissa along with her husband, Dave, have two daughters, Jessica and Michelle. Golden Retrievers and cats are her hobbies. Melissa is celebrating fourteen years with SCAH. Her Favorite breed is Golden Retrievers.
Kay Crabb, front office manager, has two children and lives with her husband in Bella Vista. They have one dog, three cats and one turtle. Her favorite breeds are yorkies, papillon and beagle.
Charlye Key has been a veterinary technician for almost ten years. She and her husband, Joel, have one daughter, Ella, who is 2 1/2 years old. Charlye enjoys reading, spending time with her family and their two dogs and eight cats. Charlye and her family live in Pea Ridge. She is attending NWACC. Her favorite breed is Pit Bull.
Colbey Thornburgh, technician / kennel assistant, lives in Pea Ridge with his Bloodhound, Jed, and three cats - Gus, Georgia and Savannah. He is a University of Arkansas Engineering major. Colbey, SCAH member for three years, likes camping and motocross. Colbey's favorite breed is Bloodhound.
Jeannette (Jet) Block, general assistant, has been with SCAH for eight years. She along with husband, Michael, have a stepson, Austin, and live in Powell, Missouri. Jet likes movies, collecting mugs, swords and mystical dragons. Her pets include seven dogs (Lil Bit, Mizty, Odie, Zena, Eragon, Merlin and Celtic), four cats (Tucson, Pheonix, Vegas and Jade) and Grysum, a ferret.
Jessica Jankowski is a new receptionist. Jessica recently relocated to Rogers from New York City with her fiance Jason. Currently Jessica has no pets, but we're working on that. Her favorite breeds are German Shepherds & Jack Russell Terriers.
Amber Hickman is one of our new receptionists. Amber is married to Brad and they have a twenty month old daughter, Macee. Amber and Brad have four dogs, four cats, six horses, two pigs, two rabbits and chickens. Her favorite breed is Saint Bernard.
Annie Williams has been a veterinary technician for five years. She resides in Pineville, Missouri, with her five dogs, five cats and one bird. Her favorite breed is Jack Russell.
Carol Wagner is another one of our new vet techs. Carol has one dog, thirteen cats, two donkeys and forty head of cattle. She lives in Missouri with her mom, brother and grandparents. She graduated from Crowder College Vet Tech Program in May. She is originally from Wisconsin until four years ago when she moved to Missouri to be with family. Her favorite breed is Dachshund.
