We offer the latest in medical, surgical, and laser treatment of eye diseases. Our office also welcomes routine eye exams for patients of all ages. The optical shop and contact lense department here at Northwest Eye Clinic, Ltd., offers a variety of choices for our patients.

Dr. Leonard George Bendikas is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing in Des Plaines for the past twenty-five years. His practice includes general ophthalmology, treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, eye infections, macular degeneration, diabetes, and contact lense fittings. Dr. Bendikas performs eye surgery and treats diseases of the eye, especially in the elerly.

Dr. Michael J. Paxhia is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in medical diseases of the retina. He was previously on the faculty at Duke University Eye Center, and is currently a salaried part-time clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. His focus areas include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other retinal vascular diseases.
