A little bit about us...
Since 1978, Charlie's Tin Shop has provided heating and air conditioning comfort for Randolph, Montgomery, and Southern Davidson counties. As an American Standard customer care dealer, we meet the highest performance and quality standards in the business. We have grown tremendously over the years and recently been honored as the recipient of the distinguished dealer award, which is the highest honor a dealer can receive. Charlie's Tin Shop was also voted Randolph County's favorite heating and air conditioning company by the Courier-Tribune readers choice award.
We have a full service sheet metal shop that fabricates our duct systems for all of our residential, commercial and industrial applications. Our installation crews are well trained and required to attend a minimum of 16 hours of continuing education per person, each year to insure your system is installed properly.
The duct system which is designed especially for your home carries a lifetime warranty. The supervisor for the installation crews is, himself, a licensed HVAC contractor, so all installations are supervised and assured to meet state and local codes prior to being approved by a building inspector. We currently have three factory trained technicians that are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They also attend many hours of continuing education to keep them up to date on new equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Charlie's Tin Shop also utilizes a special computer program that calculates heat loads to guarantee that our customers have the perfect comfort system to fit their home. After the installation of your new system has been completed, we use the load calculation which tells us the required amount of air that is needed in each room to properly balance your system. This alleviates the problem of hot and cold spots in your home and gives you the perfect comfort system.
