About the Company

Mel, owner of Academy Transmissions was introduced into the transmission business at a very young age. Synonymous with reputation and knowledge, his caring and giving nature assures you a great job at a reasonable price.

 

Mel, a re-builder/technician, has been at the same location repairing transmissions for 22 years. Academy Transmissions is a small family operated business with Mel's brother, Thad, removing and re-installing transmissions, and his wife Sharon doing everything inbetween.
