Dr. King
Dr. Carlton King has practiced dentistry in Montgomery for 36 years. Following in his father's footsteps, Dr. King graduated from Birmingham Southern College and from the UAB School of Dentistry. He joined his father in a family practice, which had begun in1934 and has been involved in all phases of general dentistry. Dr. King has been active in organized dentistry, serving as president of the regional dental society and a trustee on the board of the Alabama Dental Association. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and his son has just started practicing dentistry thus carrying on the third generation of dentists.
Barbara, Office Manager
Hello, I'm Barbara. I have been the office manager and at the front desk with Dr. King for 21 years. I have held various positions in the dental field since starting in 1979. I make and confirm appointments, file and follow-up with insurance and deal with the daily minutia of an active practice . I enjoy being part of a team whose goal is to produce optimum results for each and every member of our patient family.
Leah & Rhonda, Hygienists
Hi. We are the hygienists of Dr. King's office. We have worked with Dr. King and his staff for a combined 16 years of our over 40 years in the dental profession. It is our pleasure to be employed by Dr. King and to work with a staff whose main focus is the patient. We both view everyone as a friend as well as a patient and always consider the individual circumstances, while striving to meet their needs and comforts. We truly enjoy seeing our patients every six months and hearing about the changes in their lives as well as following their dental progress. Terri & Tina, Assistants
My name is Terri. I have been working with Dr. King for 25 years. I've been in dentistry for 36 years. I assist him in everything he does from fillings to crowns and bridges. I especially enjoy cosmetic dentistry such as bonding and whitening, because it gives the patients a smile they can be proud of and it gives them more self-esteem.
My name is Tina. I've been with Dr. King for 24 years. I assist him with various procedures that he performs. I also perform other duties throughout the office, such as pouring up models, cleaning and sterilizing instruments and filing charts. I enjoy my job because so many of my patients are like my extended family.
