Meet the Staff

Dr. Shelley Patton
I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from McMaster University in 1988 and went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in 1993. Following graduation from Dental School I completed a year-long Internship at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. I then worked as an Associate at a Dental Office in Acton for almost 6 years before setting up my own practice in Alcona. My husband Andrew, and I have one daughter named Emma. We enjoy boating, traveling and family time.

Dr. Larry Pappo (Associate Dentist)
Dr. Pappo obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Toronto in 1980 and he has been working part-time at Beach Road Dental since May of 2003.

Yvonne (Dental Assistant)
Yvonne earned her Dental Assisting Certificate from CDI over 15 years ago. She has been working at Beach Road Dental since opening day (February 2000).

Karmen (Dental Assistant/Business Administrator)
Karmen obtained her Dental Assisting Certificate from Career Canada College in 1987. She has been working at Beach Road Dental since March of 2000.

Natalie (Business Administrator)
Natalie has over 20 years experience in the dental field and has worked at Beach Road Dental since October of 2001.

Carmela (Business Administrator)
Carmela has over 13 years experience in a dental office and has worked at Beach Road Dental since June of 2007.

Monika (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Monika earned her Hygiene Diploma from Georgian College in 1998. She joined Beach Road Dental in April 2001.

Lisa (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Lisa graduated from Cambrian College with her Hygiene Diploma in 1994. She has been working at Beach Road Dental since January of 2002.

Kim (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Kim earned her Hygiene Diploma from the College of New Caledonia in 1996 and joined Beach Road Dental in July of 2006.
