Gord and I, Joann, have each been in this business over 20 years. We have been working together for nearly 5 of those years. We care about what we do and we like to see all of our customers enjoying themselves and our meals. We treat everyone that enters our small diner the same way that we would hope to be served. We are inspired when we see everyone having a good time, and enjoying the friendly rapport amongst staff and customers.
We have been so fortunate in this venture that we have "everyday" customers who have adopted us into their little "family circle". This is one of the great features of a small town, such as ours.
My husband, Gord, is a wonderful, meticulous cook who takes the utmost care with every aspect of the food preparation process. From delivery to service, Gord genuinely cares about everything he prepares. Since everything is prepared to order, we can work around most dietary issues. We even have some products that are dairy free for those with allergies. Not to mention that Gord's homemade soups and gravies are MSG free.
I try to ensure the delivery of his creations are enjoyed by all, every single time they come in. I never take for granted the fact that I know the regulars will be in again tomorrow or the next day. I try to maintain a clean, comfortable atmosphere that makes you look forward to returning, whether it is in two days or two months.
In short, we care, we work hard seven days a week to ensure each visit is like your first, and we love (almost) every crazy minute of it. . . and we hope you will too!!
