Alan Goldsmith, M.D.
“I like the variety of patient care that the OBGYN specialty gives me. Whether I am delivering a baby, doing an in office surgery or consulting with a menopausal patient, I am treating different issues. I like the challenge of finding the best course of action to take in order to give my patients the best of care.”

Dr. Goldsmith obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees at Wayne State University. His residency was completed at Sinai Hospital of Detroit and he is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Goldsmith has served as vice-chairman of the OB/GYN department at Huron Valley Hospital. His areas of expertise include high risk obstetrics, laser laparoscopic and alternative methods to hysterectomy and in office uterine ablation and sterilization procedures.

Lon Katz, M.D.
“It is important to be a good listener and I want to empower my patients to make the correct choices regarding health decisions.”

Dr. Katz received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Wayne State University. His residency was completed at Sinai Hospital of Detroit and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His areas of interest include general and high-risk obstetrics, office and surgical gynecology. Dr. Katz is also specially trained for surgical therapy for urinary loss problems, Laparoscopic Hysterectomy & alternatives to hysterectomy.

Donna Lyons, R.N.C., N.P., M.S.N
“I like to assist women in making informed decisions regarding their healthcare needs.”

Donna Lyons attended Madonna University where she obtained her Bachelors in Nursing. Then earned her Masters degree and Nurse Practitioner certification from Wayne State University. While she is skilled in treating women of all ages, she has a special knack with our adolescent patients.

Michael Salesin, M.D.

Dr. Salesin earned his undergraduate from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Wayne State University. His residency was completed at Sinai Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Salesin is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University. He has staff positions at Sinai Hospital and Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. Dr. Salesin’s special interests are infertility and menopausal medicine.

Dara N. Maurant, M.D.

Join us in welcoming Dara Maurant, M.D., a DMC physician, to our practice! Dr. Maurant earned her undergraduate from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from Wayne State University. Her residency was completed at St. John’s Hospital. Her interests include general obstetric care, adolescent gynecology, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, community outreach and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.
