Meet The Staff

Dr. Erickson was born and raised in Minnesota. His path to becoming a dentist included a bachelor's degree in nursing from Bethel College in 1984. After working for 5 years in Rochester at the Mayo Clinic while continuing to take college courses, Dr Erickson began dental school at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1994. He continued his training with a General Practice residency in the US Air Force, spending 3 years total in the USAF. He began Fairmont Family Dentistry in 1997, buying the practice of Dr. Tom Hanson.

Patient comfort is very important at Fairmont Family Dentistry, and Dr. Erickson has made it a priority in his continuing education courses. With his background in IV therapy and critical care nursing, it was a natural fit to do sedation dentistry at Fairmont Family Dentistry. Dr. Erickson is one of the few general dentists in Minnesota to offer IV sedation for surgical as well as ordinary restorative procedures.

When not in the office, Dr. Erickson loves spending time with his wife and family, attending his 3 children's activities and giving his time at his church.

Hi, my name is LaNelle. I am a Dental hygienist here at Fairmont Family Dentistry. I received my degrees from Bethany Lutheran College and Minnesota State University in Mankato. I worked the first five years of my career in Minnetonka, MN. My husband and I moved to Fairmont 12 years ago, and I have since enjoyed working for Dr. Erickson. When I am not at work, I love raising our four children, walking our dog, and spending time with family and friends. I am very excited about our new beautiful work environment, thankful for a delightful staff to work with, and always appreciate seeing the smiling faces of patients that come through our doors each day. Hi, my name is Kay. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato in 1995. I have been part of Dr. Erickson's team for ten years. I am so blessed to be associated with such a great team of dental professionals. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, taking photos and cheering on the Minnesota Twins. I look forward to the coming year in our new office and appreciate working with our wonderful patients to help provide a healthy smile.

Hi, my name is Darcy. I am a Dental Assistant at Fairmont Family Dentistry and am blessed to work with an awesome group of people. I received my CRDA at Lakeland Academy in Minneapolis, and have been a part of Dr. Erickson's team for the past 12 years. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, camp, bike, garden and do anything outdoors. I look forward to meeting many new people and enjoy visiting with our awesome established patients.

Hi, my name is Dawn. I am a Dental Assistant with an education from Lakeland Medical and Dental Academy. It has been a pleasure to be part of Dr. Jon Erickson's awesome team for the past two years. I have lived in Fairmont since 2000 and in my free time I enjoy boating, walking, family time and being a mom of two beautiful children. Happy day to you all!

Hi, my name is Corinne. I have over 17 years of combined dental experience and have been working as an administrative assistant at Fairmont Family Dentistry since 2006. My husband and I have been part of the Fairmont community with our two beautiful children for almost 30 years. It has been my pleasure to be part of this wonderful group of people and serve the surrounding community with their dental needs. Hi, my name is Nancy. I graduated from Canby Vocational School and have worked as an assistant and in the dental office for a total of 29 years. I have worked with Dr. Erickson and this great staff since he purchased the practice 12 years ago. The relationships I have made over the years with our patients and helping them have the best dental experience as possible is the best part of my job! My husband and I love spending our free time with our three grown children and their families which include our four beautiful granddaughters. I am excited to show our beautiful new office to our patients.

Hi, my name is Donna. I received my bachelor's degree in nursing from Bethel University. I wear several different "hats" at Fairmont Family Dentistry. I am the sedation RN, Dental Assistant, receptionist and "interior decorator," but my absolute favorite role is being the dentists' wife and mother to our three children... Kurt, Linnea and Peter. It's been exciting to watch our patients, staff and facility grow over the past 12 years and become a part of our wonderful Fairmont community. I have lived in Fairmont for past 13 years and am thankful and excited to be working as a full-time hygienist with Dr. Erickson's team. My goals as a new team member are to provide patients with a family friendly service and develop valued relationships that will last. In my free time I highly enjoy spending time with my family, running, traveling and any activity that takes me outdoors. I am a new addition to the team and am currently working as an assistant and occasionally I will be filling in as a Hygienist. Hi, my name is Barb. I am the Office Manager at this new beautiful office. I recently moved back to Fairmont after many years of living in other Minnesota cities. I have been a dental office manager in Rochester and St. Peter previous to moving to Fairmont. I am married, the mother of five children and five wonderful grandchildren. We are blessed with a friendly dedicated staff and I look forward to serving the dental needs of the Fairmont area.
