Meet Our Staff
Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis or, Dr. Tony as his patients call him, attended First Avenue Grammer School and Essex Catholic High School in Newark. He graduated from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, PA with a Bachelors of Arts degree in chemistry. Dr Tony attended and graduated with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey– New Jersey Dental School , Newark New Jersey.
Dr. Tony worked as an associate in the Scotch Plains NJ area for four years, then purchased a dental practice in Upper Montclair, NJ in 1989. The practice grew and his brother Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis became an associate then a partner when the office moved to it’s present location in Bloomfield, NJ and became The Brookdale Dental Group.
Dr. Tony is a member of The American Dental Association, The New Jersey Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Western Essex Study Club, and The Fauchard Dental Sociaty. He also donates his time and services to Healing The Children Midlantic NA, from which he received the prestigious Sergio Award for outstanding service.
Much of Dr. Tony’s spare time is spent with his wife Jane, and his daughter Francesca.
Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis attended Seton Hall Preparatory School and earned a Bachelors of Science Degree from Seton Hall University. Dr. Vincent attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Dental School earning his degree in 1990.
After graduating Dr. Vincent joined the practice of his brother, Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis in Montclair New Jersey as an associate. In 1994 the practice was relocated to Bloomfield New Jersey becoming the Brookdale Dental Group. At the same time Dr. Vincent became a full partner in the practice.
Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Fauchard Dental Society and the Western Essex Dental Association.
In his spare time Dr. Vincent coaches in and serves as president of the North Newark Little League.
Annie, Hygienist
Annie, RDH began her career in the dental profession in 1985, as a dental assistant. While working in the dental field Annie earned an associates degree in dental hygiene in 1992 from Union County College. Annie has been a member of the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals since 1996. A professional who truly loves what she does, Annie has developed strong relationships with her very loyal patients. This is in no small part due to Annie’s genuine warmth and her kind and compassionate nature. Annie truly becomes a partner in her patients care. Her emphasis on prevention of disease and on the education of her patients regarding their dental health makes her a special part of the Brookdale Dental Group team.
Annie and her husband, Dave, enjoy spending their free time traveling, boating and fishing. They also love playing with their Rottweiler, Ruby.
Linda , Hygienist
Linda was born and raised in Montclair NJ. She earned her bachelor of science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1983. Linda began her career in dentistry upon earning her dental hygiene degree from UMDNJ in 1988, and she joined the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals in 2001. Linda has worked in a variety of environments including hospitals, health centers and private dental practices. Even after all this time, Linda still thoroughly enjoys her profession. Her demeanor ensures that her patients are instantly comfortable while her professionalism guarantees the very best care possible.
Sonia, RDH Hygienist
Sonia, was raised in Morristown, NJ. She attended The University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ where she earned a certificate as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2009. While working in the dental field she decided to further her education by obtaining an Associates Degree from UMDNJ in Dental Hygiene in 2011. Sonia joined The Brookdale Dental Group in May of 2011. She has always had a passion for helping people and has a great chair side manner. She is always professional and pays very close attention to detail. Her goal is to become a partner in her patient's dental health.
Sonia and her husband spend most of their time with their two children and they love traveling.
Jennifer , Clinical Assistant
Jennifer grew up in Kearny, NJ and currently resides in Clifton with her husband. Jennifer began her career in dentistry in 2000 and became a registered dental assistant in 2005 after completing her course work at the Dental Studies Institute. Jennifer joined the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals in 2006 as a treatment coordinator. Jennifer enjoys helping to ensure that our patients have a positive experience with our practice.
Robyn , Clinical Assistant
Robyn grew up in Kearny, NJ and currently resides in Clifton with her husband and two children. She has been working in the medical field since 1997. She has experience as a medical billing and billing account manager. Robyn became a Registered Dental Assistant after graduating the Berdan Institute in 2003. She has been a member of the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals since 2003.
Robyn has expertise in both the clinical and administrative areas of the dental field giving her a versatility that allows her to meet the needs of our patients on a variety of levels.
Sophia , Clinical Assistant
A lifelong resident of Bloomfield, Sophia attended the Berdan Institute in 2007 where she trained to become a dental assistant. Sophia completed her Berdan Institute externship at the Brookdale Dental Group. Her hard work and dedication to her new profession so impressed the doctors that Sophia was offered a full time position with the practice as a treatment care coordinator. Sophia strives to assure that her patients understand the treatment options that are presented to them and also to assure that they receive the very best care possible.
Kerri , Continuing Care Coordinator
Kerri grew up in Ridgefield Park, NJ and currently resides in Bloomfield with her husband.
Kerri has been in the medical field for the past ten years. She has a wealth of experience in the areas of consulting, financial counseling and medical billing. Kerri joined the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals in June 2006. She enjoys her position as continuing care coordinator which she finds very challenging and rewarding.
It is her hope to build upon her already strong foundation so that she can help our patients to receive the very best service and dental treatment.
Laura , Office Manager
Originally from Brooklyn New York, Laura began her career in the dental field in 1988. Laura joined the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals in 2000, upon relocating to New Jersey. As office manager, Laura brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge. Very thorough and extremely knowledgeable in insurance matters, Laura strives to make every patient’s experience with the practice a positive one. This flows naturally from her warm and caring personality as well as her strict attention to detail. Laura is most happy when she can help meet the needs of our patients. Whether it is the arrangement of a convenient appointment schedule, or the formulation of financial plans that make desired treatment more attainable, Laura is there to help.
Francine , Hygienist
Francine has over twenty years of experience as a dental hygienist. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in dental education from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1977 and eventually earned an associates degree in clinical dental hygiene from Howard University in 1980. Francine has experience in a variety of clinical settings. During her career she has served as a dental hygienist at Newark Beth Israel Hospital as well as in both large an small private practices. Francine has been a member of the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals since 2004. Her warm demeanor and years of experience guide her dedication to ensure that her patients receive the very best care possible.
Francine is the mother of two children and resides with her husband in Scotch Plains New Jersey.
Judy, Receptionist
Judy was raised in Bloomfield and she and her husband actually bought the same house she was raised in. Judy started in the field in 1985 and has been a member of the Brookdale Dental Group team since 2005. When she is not answering phones, making appointments or filing insurance claims, Judy is busy running around with her four daughters. Judy and her family started coming to Brookdale Dental Group as patients in 1988 and now she is working with what she feels are true professionals.
Sabine, Clinical Assis tant
Sabine was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. She is a 30 year veteran in the dental field. After successfully compie ing extensive training, she worked as a Dental Assistant in Germany. In 1986, Sabine, relocated to the US. She has been a member of the Brookdale Dental Group team since its humble beginnings in 1989. In 2000 Sabine moved to Las Vegas with her husband where she worked for Dental Implant Institute of Las Vegas. After 8 years she returned to New Jersey with her husband and rejoined Brookdale Dental Group. She is happy back and part of the Brookdale Dental Team and we are ha py to have her.
