Our Staff
Certified Home Health Aide: Certified home health aides assist our patients with activities of daily living, range of motion, increasing and strengthening exercises under registered nurse supervision. Provide personal care such as meal preparation and personal hygiene. Certified home health aides have completed a Medicare educational regimen, drug testing and a criminal background check in accordance with the State of Ohio, PASSPORT, CareStar, and agency guidelines.
Certified Transportation Provider: Certified transportation attendants provide our clients with transportation to and from Passport approved appointments. All Certified transportation attendants have completed a Defensive Driving course, the PASSPORT DRIVE training, Sensitivity to Aging Program, drug testing, and criminal background check in accordance with State of Ohio, PASSPORT and Agency guidelines.
Trish P. - Owner/CEO: Patricia Powell is both the founder of Unity I Home Health Care, LLC and the CEO.
Shirley A. - Office Administrator/LPN: Shirley started with Unity I in 2005. She manages the day-to-day operations, coordinates the nursing schedules, nursing visits, human resources, and ensures that Unity I remains in compliance with JCAHO and Ohio Department of Aging standards.
Kim C. - Schedule Coordinator: Kim joined the Unity I family in 2011. She is the friendly voice you usually hear on the telephone. Her duties include the scheduling of the caregivers and covering employee call-offs.
Michelle R. - Transport Coordinator Michelle joined the Unity I team in 2010. She is the one to call to set up PASSPORT approved medical and non-medical transport. She takes care of the day-to-day scheduling of each transport. She is a certified transportation attendant and a certified nurse aide with certification in CPR and 1st Aid.
